I was introduced to Joanna Maxham through Lenka Gourdie the CEO of  SaleServant.  I have been working with her and her company Bag Servant for a few years now, and now at Sale Servant. Sale Servant is an online marketplace that brings brands and online publishers together to connect and work together promoting their brands while showcasing wonderful designers on their blog. I am thrilled to be part of this ever growing group!

The Joanna Maxham line has intrigued my senses. Her modern, chic designs had me at ‘Hello!”. I love how each bag is so detailed and incorporate unique silhouetts. All this style combined into an everyday functionable bag and you have a winning combination! This makes her bags very desirable. It is no wonder why she was on Vogue UK’s Top 100 Best Bags list!

It started following several years of fast paced international corporate career, Joanna dreamt of embracing fascination with art, fashion and all things creative. She got her feet wet by experimenting with scarves and jewelry, but discovered her true calling after designing her first handbag. In 2011 the Joanna Maxham line was launched.

I just have to say that that was the best thing that could have ever happened to us!! Right, girls?

Joanna’s vision is to deliver a luxurious combination of fresh shapes, modern style and utility that will appeal to women who are both chic and edgy; fashion forward and elegant. To whom a handbag is an investment piece that must be beautiful, practical and pass the test of time. After several years of changing cities (and countries) she settled down in Connecticut with her husband, two daughters and her dog – Mozart. Joanna commutes to Manhattan for work and inspiration.

Since its launch in 2011, Joanna Maxham handbags were featured on TV shows such as “Girls” and “Goodwife”, and have been recognized by press both nationally and internationally, including Top 100 Best Bags by Vogue UK. The line is sold in independent boutiques in the US and overseas, as well as online – through its own website and select number of curated online stores.
