Jane Bowler

As you can tell from all my posts, I’m a huge fan of true artists that combine art and fashion together to create something new. I love how these designers explore their creativity and through it, come to these ingenious conceptualized ideas on clothing and accessories. As soon as I saw Jane Bowler’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection, I knew she was one of those artists.

The way Jane Bowler crafts her sculptural designs into her clothing line is incredible. You can see how much thought went into each piece, how much planning went into each idea and how they coincide. Each look seems to gift the wearing a uniqueness that’s indescribable. You couldn’t walk around in one of her pieces without being in a world of your own.

Jan Bowler uses her exceptional eye and takes everyday materials, using unique processes, and designs from inspiration; the result, a collection that will never be mistaken for ordinary. The quality of craftsmanship is prevalent in all of her pieces.

Jane Bowler is an RCA Graduate based in London. She was recently nominated for the prestigious ‘Material Innovation Award’ supported by the Clothworkers Foundation and was also an “Emerging Designer” finalist of the renowned annual “WGSN Global Fashion Awards 2013.
